Flood situation in Cambodia as after 13 August 2006
Since 13/08/06, Kingdom of Cambodia has been affected by China typhoon continued rains has caused dramatic flash flood in costal and mountainous provinces and such as Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Thom. This has brought terrible damaged to infrastructure, livelihood and people‘s properties.
Impact of Internal and External M & E on CRC’s Wat/San Projects – Two Case Studies
Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) is currently implementing water and sanitation projects in the provinces of Kep city and Koh Kong in the Southwest Cambodia. In 2005, two targeted villages were provided with rainwater catchments and family latrines. Additionally, approximately 2000 direct beneficiaries in these villages received water related hygiene promotion. In 2006, the project will expand into three new villages reaching a total of 2500 beneficiaries, for a total of 4500 villagers benefiting from the project.

Since 1994, Cambodia Mine/UXO Victim Information System (CMVIS) is intended to contribute to the protection of mine affected communities and provide the support to mine victim through the maintenance of a system for the collection, storage and dissemination of information relating to mine/UXO casualties in Cambodia.
