In the morning, 23rd July 2011, at the Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, there was a ceremony the Opening 2011 WOVD Volleyball World Cup under the high patronage of Lok Chumteav Kittiprittbindit Bun Rany HUNSEN, President of the Cambodian Red Cross.
Lok Chumteav Kittiprittbindit began by expressing her pleasure to participate this wonderful event which the Kingdom of Cambodia was having the honor to host for the 3rd time in history that had been given the honor from countries around the world particularly the World Federal Volleyball in organizing this competition with participation from 6 countries : Cambodia, Germany, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Laos PDR and Sri Lanka.
Taking that opportunity, she congratulated and highly valued new success in terms of wellbeing and rehabilitation for disability which the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, Disability Organizations, and Non-Government Organizations had achieved as we saw our Cambodian disabled athletics improved and progressed national and Internationally, especially the work of physical rehabilitation, education, training, rehabilitation at community, sport, art and employment to disability that enable them to be stable which was a contribution in protecting and promoting the rights of disability.
During that spectacular event, Lok Chmteav Kittiprittbindit expressed her deepest gratitude to His Majesty the King Norodom Sihamony, the King of Cambodia, His Majesty the King Father and Her Majesty the Queen Mother for their ongoing support and for providing their humanitarian Royal donations to disability.
On behalf of the Cambodian Red Cross, Lok Chumteav Kittiprittbindit appealed all Ministries-Institutes, Factories, Enterprises, Educational Institutions, National-International Organizations and all Local authorities to support and encourage all disabled athletics for this World Cup Tournament for the aim to push and promote the physical, talent and spirit of our disability.
Finally, Lok Chumteav Kattiprittbindit wished all delegates and athletics from other countries to have good visit in our Angkor Wat with pleasure and safety.
