In the morning, 25th July 2011, there was a ceremony of recognizing the title as Kattiprittbindit to Lok Chumteav Kattiprittbindit Bun Rany HUNSEN at the office of the Council of Ministers, Peace Building, Room Noun Srey under the High Patronage of Samdech Akka Moha Sen Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
In the speech of Lok Chumteav Kattiprittbindit Bun Rany HUNSEN, she expressed her pride and delightfulness that the Royal Academy of Cambodia, after having highly evaluated her utmost efforts in practicing humanitarian activities, has bestowed upon her the title "Kattiprittbindit", and this is a magnificent honor for her. This marvelous title has encouraged her continued efforts and stronger involvement in social activities as well as her contribution to the efforts exerted by the Royal Government of Cambodia under the clear-sighted and wisdom leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in serving the people and the nation, in serving the cause of social-economic development, of upholding the respects of morality and dignity in the society, in urging conservation and development of culture heritage, in maintaining, tradition and identity of the nation, and in scientific development to meet with the trend of global development.
On that auspicious occasion, Lok Chumteav Kattiprittbindit expressed her most profound gratitude and heartfelt wishes to His Majesty The King of Cambodia, to Their Majesties the King Father of the Khmer Nation and the Queen Mother of the Khmer Nation for their invaluable contribution and strong supports to the Cambodian Red Cross.
Moreover, as the National Champion for the Joint Action Plan of the United Nations Secretary General for Women's and Children's Health and as the National Champion of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Forum in Response to HIV/AIDS in Cambodia, she had always urged the continuation implementation of humanitarian mission to achieve a society of zero new HIV infected, zero discrimination to people living with HIV/AIDS , zero death related to HIV, and especially reducing to its minimum the vulnerability of women and girls. As a Cambodian woman and the Honorary President of the National Committee for Upholding Social Morality, Women and Family Value, she had focused attention in safeguarding and protecting National culture, ensuring respect of social morality and strengthening happiness and unity within family through prevention of domestic violence, enhancement of women status and women well-beings. All these had contributed to gradual reduction of vulnerability of women, female minors and girls from all sorts of violation, torture and trafficking.
Finally, Lok Chumteav Kattiprittbindit thanked all Nationa-International Distinguished Gusts who participated in this honor event and wished them all success, happiness within their families and blessed with the four gems of Buddha : Longevity, Nobility, Health and Strength.
