· CRC was established in 1955.

· In 1960, CRC was admitted as a Member of the IFRC but during the Khmer Rouge Regime, it was left vacant.

·
 
In 1994, CRC was reinstated to the Federation.

· The First Term was held by Princess Norodom Marie Ranariddh.

· The Second and Third Terms were held by Madam President Bun Rany Hun Sen, Current President of CRC.

·
 
Her Majasty Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk has resided as Honorary President since 1994.

· In 2002, Two Royal Decrees were signed by His Majesty the King.

· In 2003, CRC developed a Strategy 2003 - 2010.
