On October 19, 2007, the Cambodian Red Cross Siem Reap branch will launch Angkor Panorama, an income generating activity to support its community-based health activities.  Angkor Panorama is a collection of panoramic photographs of the ancient Khmer temples.  Postcards, matted prints, and large panoramic photographs will be sold to tourists at various hotels and shops in Siem Reap.

Angkor Panorama is managed by the CRC Siem Reap branch.  All proceeds from Angkor Panorama will support a network of nearly 2,000 women Red Cross volunteers whom work with poor rural families in 254 villages in the Siem Reap districts of Pourk, Angkor Chum, and Varin.  Red Cross volunteers promote improved health practices and monitor common childhood illnesses for prompt and appropriate treatment.
