The Red Cross branch of Kandal province, had organized a second training on AI and PI preparedness for 40 RCVs in 20 target villages and 3 communes of Koh Thom districts, on 19-21 September 2007 at Koh Thom district.

On October 19, 2007, the Cambodian Red Cross Siem Reap branch will launch Angkor Panorama, an income generating activity to support its community-based health activities. Angkor Panorama is a collection of panoramic photographs of the ancient Khmer temples. Postcards, matted prints, and large panoramic photographs will be sold to tourists at various hotels and shops in Siem Reap.

Angkor Panorama is managed by the CRC Siem Reap branch. All proceeds from Angkor Panorama will support a network of nearly 2,000 women Red Cross volunteers whom work with poor rural families in 254 villages in the Siem Reap districts of Pourk, Angkor Chum, and Varin. Red Cross volunteers promote improved health practices and monitor common childhood illnesses for prompt and appropriate treatment.
This activity is supported by the American Red Cross with a capacity building grant from State Street bank.

With support from the Swedish Red Cross, in the end of July, youth camp was organized, under the theme "youth and road safety," in Kampong Speu Province, with more than 400 CRC Youth attended. |

The celebration of the 144th World Red Cross Red Crescent Day, held at the Battambang branch office, and together with similar celebrations in various provinces and towns throughout Cambodia and the dissemination through the national media, awareness of the Red Cross and the value of humanity was raised. These efforts will encourage more involvement and active participation with the Cambodian Red Cross in strengthening partnerships to promote the effectiveness and validation of its humanitarian activities in accordance with the global theme “Together for Humanity”. |

Just two days before the opening of the VII Asia-Pacific Conference in Singapore, the Cambodian Red Cross and its staff and volunteers celebrated the first ever event in the history. It was the ceremony to officiate the recognition to Madam Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, as the APLF (Asia-Pacific Regional Forum) and National Outstanding Champion on HIV/AIDS. |
